Laura Milke Garner is the driving force behind MILKE since 2008, an award-winning producer and mentor based in Naarm (Melbourne), Australia. With over 27 years of industry experience, Laura has curated exceptional shows and collaborated with hundreds of artists, gracing prestigious stages from the Sydney Opera House to London’s iconic SOHO Theatre. Beyond stellar productions, Laura is dedicated to advancing producer skills and has pioneered mentorship programs, online courses, and workshops for over a decade. Her latest initiative, The Producers Lab, represents a significant leap in producer upskilling and development in our sector.

As Program Producer at Malthouse Theatre for the past five years, Laura orchestrates an annual four-week program for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, showcasing the best of the comedy world. A fierce advocate for the arts, Laura has been on to boards such as the Moosehead Awards, Golden Gibbo Award, and serves as a founding member of the Perth International Cabaret Festival.
