Producer & GST: What Do You Need to Know?

GST can feel like a bit of a headache, but if you’re producing shows, it’s something you need to get your head around. Do you need to register? What happens with ticket sales? Are you meant to charge GST on artist fees? And what about your BAS—where do you even start?

In this session, we’ll break it all down in a way that actually makes sense. We’ll cover when and how GST applies to your work, how to avoid common pitfalls, and what you can do to keep your finances in check without the stress.

Whether you’re already GST-registered or wondering if you should be, this workshop will give you the confidence to navigate it all like a pro.

Also these are the two headshots that I usually use, but I am aware that I am not looking at the camera for either! If you would prefer something straight on, give me a couple of days and I will get one together.
